Deadline extended March 30, 2007 for PLT2007
Sent the: 2007-03-12
Due to several requests the deadline for paper submission to PLT2007 has been extended to March 30, 2007. We are also pleased to announce that PLT2007 will be held in technical cooperation with IEEE and IEEE Computer Science Society.

RESEARCH SCIENTIST IN LARGE-SCALE DATA MINING In addition to previous announced positions at Beijing, applications are invited for several research-scientist positions at Google Mountain View, USA. The successful applicant is expected to perform research activities on large-scale data mining on imagery/video/text data and on social networks.

*** PROLEARN Academy - Measure


Our auto observation tool for scientific communities contains at present 367 projects, of which 42 are newsfeeds, 78 newsletters, 178 web sites and 69 mailinglists. The number of catched entries totals 5590 for the feeds, of which 10 were retrieved last week. For the newsletters totals 1681 entries, of which 16 were retrieved last week and for the mailinglists 44081 entries, of which 643 last week.

The project from the feeds with the highest activity level last week was Prolearn-Project, with 0 entries, 13 less than the top-project of the week before - EdNA online - Education Network Australia. The top-project from the mailinglists last week was LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange, with 279 entries, 37 less than the top-project of the week before - LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange.
