The 2nd ROLE Widget Enchantment Competition

The ROLE Widget Enchantment Competition aims to bring together the best ideas from both the software developer and the practitioner communities to create a wide range of innovative Web widgets supporting Technology Enhanced Learning and thus to make a significant contribution to learners combining their Personal Responsive Open Learning Environments from a wide range of available learning widgets.

The Competition challenges participants to develop Web widgets supporting arbitrary forms of learning. Submissions may be any kind of publicly available, free Web widget supporting either one of the OpenSocial Gadget or W3C Widget specifications. The only other requirement is that the proposed Web widget provides an added value for learning in specific or generic learning scenarios.
