With this approach we wish to inform you respecting the news in PROLEARN Academy about which are the new added elements, which are the events organized for the next week and some information about the projects registered in PROLEARN Academy.

*** Upcoming events

International Conference on Computer Supported Education (CSEDU) Place: Valencia, Date: Apr 07, 2010 - Apr 10, 2010
CSEDU 2010 (The International Conference on Computer Supported Education) aims at becoming a yearly meeting place for presenting and discussing new educational environments, best practices and case studies on innovative technology-based learning strategies, institutional policies on computer supported education including open and distance education, using computers. In particular, the Web is currently a preferred medium for distance learning and the learning practice in this context is usually referred to as e-learning. CSEDU-2010 is expected to give an overview of the state of the art as well as upcoming trends, and to promote discussion about the pedagogical potential of new learning and educational technologies in the academic and corporate world.

International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST) Place: Valencia, Date: Apr 07, 2010 - Apr 10, 2010
The purpose of the 6th International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST) is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the technological advances and business applications of web-based information systems. The conference has four main track, covering different aspects of Web Information Systems, including Internet Technology, Web Interfaces and Applications, Society, e-Communities, e-Business and Web Intelligence.

Canada International Conference on Education (CICE-2010) Place: Toronto, Date: Apr 26, 2010 - Apr 28, 2010
The CICE is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in education. The CICE promotes collaborative excellence between academicians and professionals from Education.

Ubiquitous Computing presents a rather arduous requirement of robustness, reliability and availability to the end user. Ad hoc, Sensor & Ubiquitous computing has received a significant and sustained research interest in terms of designing and deploying large scale and high performance computational applications in real life.

Our auto observation tool for scientific communities contains at present 1599 projects, of which 239 are newsfeeds, 95 newsletters, 536 web sites, 74 mailinglists and 655 blogs. The number of caught entries totals 213080 for the feeds, of which 3400 were retrieved last week. For the newsletters totals 4766 entries, of which 16 were retrieved last week, for the mailinglists there are 120309 entries, of which 528 last week and for the blogs there are 268039 entries, of which 178 last week.
The feed project with the highest activity level last week was Handelsblatt.com, with 1625 entries, 313 more than the top-project of the week before - Handelsblatt.com. The top mailinglist project last week was LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange, with 228 entries, 25 more than the top-project of the week before - LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange. The top blog project last week was Read/WriteWeb, with 37 entries, 58 less than the top-project of the week before - Read/WriteWeb.
